E-learning Services and Contacts

The E-learning system of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences can be accessed at https://elearning.uni-mate.hu/ . To log in, you must have a current student or employee status and a password activated in JoKeR, the MATE IT Authorization Management System. The default password for your JoKeR account is "NeYYYYMMDD", where YYYYMMDD is the date of birth. Activation is achieved by changing the default password.

The e-learning interface allows students to access e-learning courses related to their subjects, course materials uploaded by the instructors, tests, exams and other support materials. The Moodle E-learning Portal also serves as a communication forum between students and teachers.

You should contact the e-learning staff of the University Library and Archives if you:

  • have a request or question related to Moodle,
  • have questions about its methodology and would like to consult an e-learning expert,
  • would like to request e-learning teacher's training for yourself or your colleagues
  • notice an error or something unusual when using e-learning system

You should contact the IT Directorate if you:

  • have log in problems due to a forgotten password or inactive status of your MATE account
  • want to change your user name in the e-learning interface
  • wish to grant access to the e-learning portal to a colleague having a signed contract with the University
  • need help creating and managing your Teams and/or O365 account
